Bec is a registered Psychologist and co-founder of Village Psychology and Education.
No matter how big or small your therapy goals are, Bec offers a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable space. Bec works in-line with her values of collaboration and connection with clients to create a positive path forward using evidence-based treatment.
Bec has worked in private practice, not-for-profit, and disability sectors and is experienced in assessing and treating a range of mental health concerns in children, teens and adults. Bec has a special interest in the link between trauma and our nervous system, and she adopts a holistic approach to treatment to create longer lasting change.
Bec holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class 1) and Master of Professional Psychology from the University of New England.
Bec offers a flexible and individualised approach to therapy and draws upon a range of evidence-based treatments including:
- Schema Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Bec currently has availabilities on Mondays and Wednesdays for children, teens and adults.
