I am a Victim Services–approved counsellor specialising in trauma-informed support for individuals impacted by crime, violence, and complex life experiences. My work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a strong commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice.
I have extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, Complex PTSD, crisis, addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship or family challenges. In my role as a Victim Services counsellor, I work closely with individuals navigating the psychological and emotional impacts of trauma, providing both therapeutic support and guidance through formal processes such as assessments, documentation, and recognition applications.
My approach is person-centred and tailored to each individual, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed practice. I focus on creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to process their experiences at their own pace.
Across community services, EAP settings, and specialised trauma services, I have supported clients facing complex and high-risk situations with care, consistency, and professionalism. I am deeply committed to helping individuals rebuild a sense of safety, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling (Distinction) and recognition for academic excellence and social justice commitment, I bring both professional expertise and genuine compassion to my work.
My goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, respected, and empowered — and to walk alongside you as you navigate your path toward healing and growth.
